| Abstract: | Studied was the geographic variation of leopard-cats (Prionailurus bengalensis) in Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. Distinct subspecies can be recognised for: Java and Bali; Sumatra; Borneo; Palawan; and Negros. These show unexpected Zoogeographic patterns. On the Malay peninsula a probable hybrid population exists. |
